Feeling empowered 💪after spending 3 incredible days in paradise️🌴 ☀️at the Personal Branding and Style Retreat. Some of my top takeaways: ☀️ The Whitsundays are breathtakingly beautiful! 🎤 Delivering your perfect pitch with a mic isn't so scary 📖 Storytelling is key - One of MY fav topics! 📷 Photography tips & tricks and camera confidence 👗 Top styling and colour tips to match our personality & our brand 🍔 It's possible to eat wagyu burgers every day because you're on holiday *Other pearls of wisdom include a quote by the lovely Nicky -  "Women who wear pearls seem to have their life together!" Ha love it! Put that on a shirt! Or start wearing pearls! All in all - a fab 3 days of friendship, sharing stories, drinking wine & eating fresh tasty food. We set sail on the amazing @providencesailing from Airlie Beach and what an amazing experience - champagne flowing🥂, delicious nibblies🧀🥨😋, stunning scenery🌅 and of course lots of laughter😆😆😆 I was attending the Personal Branding & Style Retreat in Airlie which was 3 full days of self-discovery, marketing, branding & style. Here's to good friends, good times & Ottolenghi😃👨‍🍳🥂 My vision for 2023🔮 - "a fun-filled year of exploration & new possibilities", and if January is anything to go by - it's off to a flying start! Over the weekend, I enjoyed Ottolenghi's live show @atqpac. I was also lucky enough🍀 to score a copy of his latest book, "Extra Good Things", which is all about stocking up your pantry with flavour-boosting ingredients. For 2 hours, Yotam told us tales from his youth and how his upbringing influenced the food that led to him becoming a chef, tastemaker & entrepreneur. An eloquent & engaging speaker, I was glued to my seat, hanging on to his every word as he shared his incredible food knowledge. The lovely @aliceinframes joined Yotam on the couch for the show, and there were quizzes and audience participation throughout. It was an incredible experience, a show I'd readily go to again. Listening and drooling over Yotam's food experiences left us hungry for more and, well, hungry for food! We stopped by River Quay Fish for a crisp sauvignon blanc & a tasty share platter - a true "flavour bomb", as Yotam would say! We may have also had a cheeky Negroni🍹to watch the sunset! see pics! Having recently discovered @bar1603_, I was excited to check out @izakayapublico This restaurant totally has the WOW😮 factor. From the striking moody murals that adorn the walls, to the exquisite food🍤🥟 & super friendly staff - this restaurant ticks all the boxes!
